No, even if the price drops to 20 rupees a share, profits won't be realised for at least another 7 years. Instead, stay away from loss making securities.

  • Simply put, Zomato is rotten tomato.
  • It's almost at a record low.
  • Given a sell signal already by breaking the listing day's low.
  • At every increase, there may be pressure to sell.
  • First let it cross 115.
  • Probably best to avoid this.

Zomato was one of the startups that received a premium listing on the stock market. Zomato offered double profits to investors who submitted IPO applications.

However, the stock is currently trading between 45 and 55 rupees. Who should invest in Zomato is still up for debate. Zomato, in my opinion, is an extremely dangerous stock to invest in. Because the fundamentals and financials are what determine how well a stock will perform.

Zomato is a highly loss-making business, and its losses rise yearly. There is little scope for investment until the fundamentals are solid. The company is always seeking new capital since it needs money for marketing and other operations and is spending money quickly.

Consequently, you can invest in zomato if you wish to risk your money. Nevertheless, you might wait till it reaches about 30-40 rupees.

It's not true that Zomato is a bad company to invest in, but I don't feel right about it. Let's wait for the company's following two financial reports.

Until then, make investments in the FMCG industry (ITC, Marico, Dabur, etc.); you'll get a BOOM!
