The segments that you don't understand.

Like I don't invest in cement, reality, or the steel industry.

I like IT, banks, and FMCG.

There is a very good likelihood that the western world will experience a recession within the next two or three quarters. If the western world experiences a recession, it will undoubtedly spill over to India, perhaps not in a fully fledged way. Recession may have an impact on the following sectors:

  • Infrastructure: As capital expenditures (capex) at both public and private sectors begin to decline, they begin to affect infrastructure, which in turn may have an impact on lower-tier stocks like metals and cement, among others.
  • IT – The industry started off positively because there was a lot of outsourcing going on to cut costs, but when CAPEX stopped flowing and emotions towards outsourcing is reversed, the sector began to start showing indications. We might notice an influence in 6 to 9 months.
  • Automobiles – Passenger cars often fall under the category of discretionary spending and are the first to go when family budgets are squeezed.
  • Banking - Since banking and finance are fundamental to the overall economy, the effects of the global recession must be considered.

Why don't you invest in the stock market, Dad? I questioned.

It is quite risky, Dad. Money has already been lost by Mr. Malhotra. The greatest choice is FD. It is secure and safe. Buy gold if you have extra cash. Real estate is the finest choice if you have more money. Money consistently appreciates. After the stock loss, Mr. Malhotra has made a fortune in real estate.

In a nation like India, the majority of the populace is conservative. They even dislike talking about money. Above all, the majority of individuals are unaware of how to invest in financial instruments. They are investing in the same manner that their ancestors did traditionally.

For intraday trading and derivative trading, you need a strategy.

The market, in Warren Buffet's opinion, is straightforward. Simply put, being straightforward is challenging. Utilize any technique. You can always lose money that is simple to earn. It is true for every aspect of life, including the stock market.

Trading intraday will result in a profit one day and a loss the next. You will find yourself at the end of the month with no profit, no loss, a small loss, or modest profit. You will profit from derivatives, but you will also lose all of your gains. The finest business tactic is to make wise purchases and wait.

Buy a good stock at a bad time. Invest for the long term for long-term wealth creation
